The Suganuma were a Mikawa family that nominally served the Imagawa before transferring their loyalties to the Tokugawa after 1560. Sadamitsu served Ieyasu at Anegawa and Nagashino. In 1601 he received a 20,000-koku fief in Ise (Nagashima).
