1735/10 In a shûmei ceremony at the Ichimura-za, Ichikawa Danjûrô II becomes Ichikawa Ebizô II; his adopted son Ichikawa Masugorô becomes Ichikawa Danjûrô III and Matsumoto Shichizô I becomes Matsumoto Kôshirô II.
