Jump to navigationJump to searchKita Busei was an Edo period painter known for his birds and flowers paintings, and for his extensive collection of copies he painted of old and famous works.
A student of Tani Bunchô, he accompanied Bunchô to Kamigata to compile the pictorial catalog Shûko jisshu, at the orders of Matsudaira Sadanobu.
