The Shimazu clan of Satsuma han maintained mansions in Edo, Kyoto, Fushimi, and Osaka, in addition to their various mansions in their home territory.
The Osaka mansion was located at Tosa-bori. The site was what is today Osaka's Nishi-ku, Tosa-bori-chô 2-chôme.
