- Japanese: 入船山記念館 (Irifuneyama kinenkan)
The Irifuneyama Kinenkan (Memorial Hall) is the former residence of the commander of the Kure Naval Base, at Kure, in Hiroshima prefecture. It is the only surviving example today of such a military commander's residence of that particular period and style.
It sits on or near the site of a Kameyama Shrine, established in 703 and requisitioned by the navy in 1886. In 1890, a two-story Western-style wooden building was constructed for administrative use; it was later converted into a residence for the naval commander. It was then rebuilt following an earthquake and fire in 1905. Stone monuments on the site surviving from the shrine are associated with celebration or commemoration of the accomplishments of Taira no Kiyomori.
