Suketsuku was a retainer of Itô Yoshisuke of Hyuga province. When the Itô fell to the Shimazu in 1577, Suketsuku secretly communicated with the Ôtomo. When the Ôtomo advanced into Hyuga in 1578, Suketsuku came out to join them. He was killed in the defeat at Mimigawa that year.
