There are obviously a great many other Minamoto to be listed here... this is just a start, but does include all the Minamoto for whom we have articles thus far. I'm surprised there's not yet even a Minamoto clan article... Should we think about having articles for the Seiwa Genji and Kawachi Genji, or just one big article for all the branches of the whole clan? I guess it's a totally moot point until we at least have an article for the clan. LordAmeth 06:40, 23 November 2007 (PST)

I don't know much of anything about the Minamoto clan - if these clans are offshoots of a main Minamoto clan, I guess they should have their own articles. And I don't think it is too surprising there isn't an article yet on the Minamoto - aside from you, I and a couple other people, who would write it? :P --Kitsuno 11:36, 23 November 2007 (PST)

Point. Well, I shall make a note to get on it. And after that, the Taira, and maybe a number of the various members of those two clans. Much more directly relevant to major themes in samurai history than the string of Okinawan kings, ne? ^_^ LordAmeth 17:10, 24 November 2007 (PST)

Thanks for the start on the clan page (I noticed your sandbox) - I have the Kamakura Jinmei Jiten, which has at least 50 Minamoto members I could add, if I can find the time. Not likely in the short term though. --Kitsuno 18:00, 24 November 2007 (PST)
