Dacheng Zhaohan was the last Chinese-born head of the Ôbaku Zen temple of Manpuku-ji in Uji.

Following his death, the Tokugawa shogunate found it difficult to get further monks to come from China to serve as abbot of the temple. Though most abbots up to this point had been born and raised in China, Manpuku-ji abbots from this time forward were of Japanese origin.
