Urakami Arimori is the former site of a fortress on the island of [[Amami Oshima|Amami Ôshima]]. Though no stone walls have been found, waterless moats surrounded the site atop a small hill in the northern portion of the island. Local legends associate the site with the [[Taira clan]] warrior [[Taira no Arimori]].
