Urakami Arimori

Urakami Arimori is the former site of a fortress on the island of Amami Ôshima. Though no stone walls have been found, waterless moats surrounded the site atop a small hill in the northern portion of the island. Local legends associate the site with the Taira clan warrior Taira no Arimori.
