Mô Kenryû was a Ryukyuan scholar-official and court musician.

He was named a gakudôji (teenage music & dance performer for the court) in 1664, and in 1669 was appointed to oversee rehearsals and preparations otherwise for the uzagaku musicians who were to travel to Edo in 1671 - this post was called at that time zagaku shinan bugyô.
