The Bungo lineage of jôruri (narrative storytelling) is a category of styles or genres of narrative shamisen music and singing, performed mainly in the kabuki theater and by geisha and courtesans.

The category includes the tokiwazu, kiyomoto, itchû-bushi, shinnai-bushi, tomimoto-bushi, miyazono-bushi (aka sonohachi), and shigetayû-bushi styles.
