Shô On was the 15th king of the Second Shô Dynasty of the Ryûkyû Kingdom, ruling from 1795 until his death in 1802.

The second son of royal prince Shô Tetsu, he succeeded his grandfather Shô Boku as king of Ryûkyû in 1795.

His queen was named Sentoku.

The National Confucian Academy (J: kokugaku) in Kumemura was established during his reign.[1]

Shô On died on 1802/7/11, at the young age of 19, and was succeeded by his eldest son, who took the throne as Shô Sei.
