Sai Ninhô was a Ryukyuan scholar-aristocrat who served as instructor to the musicians attached to a 1772 Ryukyuan mission to Kagoshima.
He was a son of Sai Kôso, who had served as music instructor for two Ryukyuan missions to Edo, in 1748 and 1752. Two of Ninhô's brothers were notable instructors of Chinese music as well; his elder brother, Sai Ninchô, served alongside him in 1772, while a younger brother, Sai Ninki, served in a similar position in 1795, preparing musicians for the 1796 mission to Edo.
