  • Japanese: 昭子内親王 (Akiko Naishinnou)

Princess Akiko, also known as the Third Princess (女三宮, nyo san no miya), was the third daughter of Emperor Go-Mizunoo and Tôfukumon-in (Tokugawa Masako).

Secondary sources sometimes confuse her for her elder sister Princess Teruko (1625-1651), also known as the Second Princess (女二宮), who married Konoe Hisatsugu. Their eldest sister succeeded Go-Mizunoo to the throne as Empress Meishô.
