Niiro Sojiro

• Japanese: 新納宗次郎 (Niiro Soujirou)

Niiro Sôjirô was a young samurai who fought and died in the Satsuma Rebellion. He was killed at age 14, on 1877/3/21, at the Battle of Higokagami in Higo province. He was buried at the Nanshû Cemetery in Kagoshima.
