Nagayoshi was the third son of Ikeda Nobuteru and was adopted by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He supported the Tokugawa clan in the Sekigahara Campaign (1600) and assisted his elder brother Terumasa in the reduction of Gifu castle in Mino province. He was afterwards given Tottori castle in Inaba province. Son: Nagayuki (1587-1632)
