Daijô-in was a Buddhist temple in Kagoshima patronized by the Shimazu clan.
The temple was originally established in Ijûin, but was later moved to Shimizu-chô by Shimazu Takahisa, where it became the chief Shingon temple in Satsuma han.
The temple was dissolved in accordance with the haibutsu kishaku policies of the first years of the Meiji period, along with most other Buddhist temples in Satsuma. Today, the gravestone of one of the temple's abbots can still be seen outside the gates of Shimizu Middle School in Kagoshima.
