Tani Soyo

Jump to navigationJump to searchSôyô was the son of Tani Sôbuko (d.1545) and was perhaps the most talented renga composer of his day. He is remembered in part for his rivalry with the famous Satomura Jôha, who became the leading master of linked verse after Sôyô's death.
