Kabayama Hisataka was a karô of Satsuma han. The chief commander of the han's forces, he led the invasion of Ryûkyû in 1609.
Kabayama is known in some records as 呉済 (Gozai), a Chinese approximation of the Japanese pronunciation of 権左 (Gonza).
