Manpukumaru was Asai Nagamasa's only son and heir, and half brother to Nagamasa's three daughters, Chacha, Hatsu, and Oeyo[1]. He was killed by Oda Nobunaga after the fall of Odani castle in 1573, to put an end to the Asai clan for good.
