Abe Masayoshi was the second Abe clan lord of Fukuyama han. He served for a time as Osaka jôdai.
Masayoshi was the fourth son of Abe Masakuni. He succeeded his father to become lord of Fukuyama in 1715, around age 16.
Masayoshi continued his father's efforts to establish policies and administrative structures for the domain, and to continue to advance a healthy economy. However, he faced a number of problems including peasant uprisings, floods, famine, and heavy financial and labor obligations imposed by the shogunate.
After ruling Fukuyama for 34 years, Masayoshi retired in favor of his son Abe Masasuke. His second-born son, Tadao, was adopted by the hatamoto Sakai Tadaoka, while his fourth son, Abe Masaoki, was adopted by Abe Masatane, lord of Sanuki han.
