Rev. Fr. Mathieu Adnet was a French missionary associated with the Paris Foreign Mission Society who resided in Ryûkyû from 1846/8 until his death on 1848/6/1.

Adnet arrived in Ryûkyû aboard the French ship Sabine or Alcmene. He remained there until his death, and was buried in the Tomari International Cemetery.
