Known for his skill with the spear, he went on to distinguish himself at the Battles of Kayatsu (1553) and Okehazama (1560) under Nobunaga. After Nobunaga's death in 1582, Sadakiyo went to serve Oda Nobuo and died at Kiyosu castle over twenty years later.
