There is a temporary moratorium on editing by new users.  Established editors are not affected by this temporary block. An application process for new editors is in development and should be ready to roll out within a week.  

Because the SamuraiWiki's purpose is to create a high quality research database for pre-20th century Japanese history, new members do not have editing privileges.  People interested in becoming [[SamuraiWiki:Approved Editors|approved editors]] of the SamuraiWiki must apply for editor privileges at the [http://groups.yahoo.com/group/samuraiwiki/ SamuraiWiki Editor's Group].
