Inoue Genzaburo was born in a family of [[Hachioji Sennin Doshin]].
He became pupil of [[Tennen Rishin Ryu]] in [[1847]]
and received [[Menkyo]] in [[1860]].
He supported [[Kondo Isami]] very well in [[Shinsengumi]], they had great trust each other.
He was killed in the [[Battle of Yodo-Senryomatsu]] [[1868]].
His nephew Inoue Taisuke tried to take his head and sword but they were too heavy, he buried them in a temple on the way to Osaka.
They are not found yet.
Inoue Genzaburo and [[Okita Soji]] were relatives.
