Uhô dôji is a "rainmaking youth" figure often said to be a manifestation of either the [[Shinto]] deity [[Amaterasu]] or the [[Buddha]] [[Dainichi]]. He is typically depicted with a staff and wish-granting jewel in his hands, and a pagoda on his head.
