Hashiguchi Denzô was a [[Satsuma han]] retainer involved in the [[1862]] [[Teradaya Incident]].
He studied under [[Yasui Sokken]] in [[Edo]].
On 1862/4/23, he joined [[Arima Shinshichi]] and others at the [[Teradaya]] inn in [[Fushimi]] to plot against the imperial court; [[Shimazu Hisamitsu]] sent warriors to put an end to the plot. Hashiguchi was killed by [[Narahara Shigeru]] in the resulting fight.
