Ôyama Seinosuke was a younger brother of [[Oyama Iwao|Ôyama Iwao]]. He married [[Oyama Kikuko|Kikuko]] (aka Kikugusa), a daughter of [[Saigo Takamori|Saigô Takamori]].
Seinosuke is buried alongside Kikuko and other members of their family at [[Daien-ji (Setagaya)|Daien-ji]], a temple in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.
