*''Japanese'': 善知鳥 ''(Utou)''

''Utô'' is a [[Noh]] play about a fisherman who hunted ''utô'' birds (known as rhinoceros auklets in English), and who is now tormented by giant birds in the afterlife, as a result of the [[Buddhism|Buddhist]] laws against killing other beings. A significant portion of the play is taken up by the ghost's relating of his tale.
