Sadachika was a noted retainer of [[Ukita Naoie]] from the early days of the latter and led troops for him in all of his campaigns. After the Ukita submitted to [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi|Hashiba (Toyotomi) Hideyoshi]] and the [[Oda clan|Oda]] in [[1579]], Sadachika assisted at the [[Siege of Takamatsu|siege of Takamatsu]] in [[1582]] and later in the Shikoku Campaign. He was murdered in [[1588]].
