  • Japanese: 児島高徳 (Kojima Takanori)

Kojima Takanori was a supporter of Emperor Go-Daigo of the Southern Court during the wars of the 14th century Nanboku-chô period, and appears in the warrior epic Taiheiki. He has come to be regarded as a model of Imperial loyalty. Traditionally, Takanori has also been worshipped as the progenitor of the Miyake clan, though many historians consider this connection specious.[1]

The Ukita clan of Bizen province also claim descent from Takanori.
