Bomon Nobuko

Bômon Nobuko was a daughter of court noble Bômon Nobukiyo, and wife to shogun Minamoto no Sanetomo. Her sister Bômon no tsubone married Emperor Go-Toba.
Nobuko survived after the 1219 assassination of her husband Sanetomo, and returned to Kyoto, where she took the tonsure.
