Thomas Watters was a British diplomat, serving as Acting Consul General in [[Seoul]] from [[1887]] to [[1888]].
Watters was appointed to the post in Seoul after serving in the British Consular Service for some time in mainland China and Taiwan. During his time in Asia he built a personal collection of Asian art and artifacts, and donated many of them to the [[British Museum]] and [[Victoria and Albert Museum]] in London while on a home leave in 1888.
