Ôyama Seinosuke was a younger brother of Ôyama Iwao. He married Kikuko (aka Kikugusa), a daughter of Saigô Takamori.
Seinosuke is buried alongside Kikuko and other members of their family at Daien-ji, a temple in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.
