Maki Yoshinori was a Tokugawa shogunate official who served as kobushin bugyô (public works magistrate) until 1850, when he was reassigned to the position of Nagasaki bugyô. While serving in that position, he interrogated John Manjirô and several of Manjirô's fellow castaways when they were first returned to Japan. Maki remained Nagasaki bugyô until 1853, when he was named Nishinomaru Rusui.
