Nakijin ueekata Mô Sônô was a Ryukyuan scholar-aristocrat who in 1626 led a group of teenage scholar-aristocrats in performing Ryukyuan court music and dance before Emperor Go-Mizunoo, Retired Shogun Tokugawa Hidetada, Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu, and lord of Kagoshima han Shimazu Iehisa at Nijô castle.
