Talk:Chinzei Bugyo

Is this essentially the same thing as Chinzei Tandai, it's forerunner, or is it seperate? --Kitsuno 16:30, 27 June 2007 (PDT)

Aha. There was originally a Chinzei bugyo, who would sometimes also be referred to as Chinzei Tandai; however, by the end of the 13th century, the Chinzei Tandai (or Kyushu Tandai, or Kyushu Kanrei, all names for the same thing) became a separate post, with the Chinzei bugyo as his assistant.
