• Wikipedia says "his ancestor was a samurai that belonged to Tokugawa shogunate" However Asada wrote his father's side was retainer of Sekiyado han(関宿藩) on his essay.(浅田次郎　新選組読本) His mother was daughter of Mitake shrine's priest.--Shikisoku 07:07, 23 January 2008 (PST)
