A deity of Japanese mythology. Enshrined in [[Ise shrine]].
Amaterasu was the daughter of [[Izanagi]] and [[Izanami]]. She was the older sister of [[Susa no O]].

She was born from Izanagi's left eye and ordered to rule [[Taka Amano Hara]].
She was angry at Susa no O's violent acts and hid herself inside of the Amano Iwayato.
