In [[1868]]/2, [[Hitotsubashi clan]] retainer [[Shibusawa Seiichiro|Shibusawa Seiichirô]], [[Hatamoto]] [[Amano Hachiro|Amano Hachirô]] and 67 pro-Bakufu comrades gathered in Zôshigaya and formed a military unit called the Shôgitai.
