  • Japanese: 奈良絵本 (Nara ehon)

Nara ehon ("Nara Illustrated Books") were a type of hand-painted books produced in Kyoto in the early 1600s. Closely related works known as Nara emaki ("Nara handscrolls") also existed in the handscroll format.

Despite their name, the books had no connection to the city of Nara, or the Nara period.
