The Later Liang Dynasty was one of the chief dynasties which ruled China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period following the fall of the Tang Dynasty in 907.

The Later Liang was founded by Zhu Wen, a rebel Tang commander, who captured the Emperor of Tang in 904 and killed him in 907, dismantling his capital of Chang'an and floating many of the palace buildings down the Wei River to establish his own capital at Luoyang; a second Liang capital was maintained simultaneously at Kaifeng.

The Later Liang fell in 923 to the Shatuo Turks, who then established the Later Tang Dynasty.
