Iwai Rebellion

Jump to navigationJump to searchThe so-called Iwai Rebellion of the mid-6th century was a war waged between the kingdom of Iwai, on northern Kyushu, and the Yamato state. Iwai allied itself with the Korean kingdom of Silla, while Yamato enjoyed the Gaya Confederacy as its ally.
