Hotta Masatora

Hotta Masatora was the second son of Hotta Masatoshi, and a daimyô of Yamagata han.

In 1701, he revived the temple of Jindai-ji, which was later moved (in 1746 by Hotta Masasuke) from Yamagata to Sakura han, becoming the family temple of the Hotta clan. Masatora is today buried there alongside the other members of his clan.
