Edo Period guidebook to personal, social and professional standards based on the Bushido code of conduct. Bushido Shoshinsu is divided into three parts and fourty-four chapters, touching on such subjects as "Education", "Horsemanship", and "Dealing with Emergencies". Written by Confucian scholar and military theorist Taira Shigesuke (1639-1730).
