Ôta Sukemoto was a Bakumatsu period lord of Kakegawa han. He served the Tokugawa shogunate as Kyoto shoshidai from 1831 to 1834, as Jisha bugyô in the early 1850s, and as a member of the rôjû from 1858 to 1859.

He was placed under house confinement during the Ansei Purges, but was released in 1860.[1]
