  • Chinese: 明實錄 (Ming shi lu)

The Ming shi lu, or "Veritable Records of the Ming Dynasty," is a compilation of accounts of the reigns of each emperor of the Chinese Ming Dynasty.

Totalling nearly 40,000 pages of Classical Chinese in the original manuscripts, the Ming shi lu is one of the chief primary sources on Ming history, along with the Ming shi, or "Official History of the Ming Dynasty."

While each volume of the Ming shi lu was written shortly after the end of the reign it covers, the Ming shi was compiled a century after the fall of the Ming, from Ming period sources such as the Ming shi lu.
