Kim Jong-seo was a Korean scholar-official in service to the Joseon Dynasty. The son of an army official, he is known for his role in developing six military camps on the kingdom's borders. However, he also played a significant role in the compilation of the History of Goryeo (Goryeosa), and Abridged History of Goryeo (Goryeosa Jeoryo).
