- 1331/8/24 Emperor Go-Daigo flees Kyoto with the Imperial Regalia and establishes his court at the Kasagi Temple.
- 1331/9/28 Bakufu forces dispatched from Kyoto capture Kasagi; Go-Daigo is apprehended soon afterwards.
- 1331/10 Kusunoki Masashige defends Akasaka (on Mt. Kongo, in Kawachi) against the Bakufu troops sent from Kamakura.
